What you are about to embark on is simply a series of vignettes from my life as a hospice chaplain. Please forgive the roughness of these sketches whether in picture or in word. This book is merely an attempt to give the reader a glimpse into the day of a hospice chaplain. A personal look into the life of a Hospice chaplain and the patients he cares for- complete with sketches showcasing the patients' appearances. After reading this book, I feel like I have physically met the characters mentioned. As a nurse, this collection did an excellent job of showing that each patient you encounter has their own unique story. I was intrigued to learn more about the life behind each face that was sketched. This also beautifully illustrates, there's more to Hospice than death.
